Mercedes SLR McLaren Jul. 7th, 2006 @ 01:29 am
I get more and more hard over this car all the time.

If at any point in my life...I somehow manage to own one (keep in mind the estimated monthly payments on this car...with good credit...is in the ballpark of 10 grand a month)...just somehow...then nothing else in my life could ever possibly bother me. No matter what life tried to throw at me, I would just go drive my car, and feel better.

I call this... May. 27th, 2006 @ 10:08 pm

» Well...
I move to Auburn tomorrow.

I haven't started packing yet.
» Woah....
I just finished watching Kung Fu Hustle. (Great movie by the way, I
thought it'd suck.) During the last fight sequence, this cool dramatic
music starts up. What was odd, was that even after the fight...during
the ending sequence...the music continued. It kinda fit thought, so it
was ok. What was even more odd was that it continued into the credits,
even though there was other, more upbeat music playing under it. But I
suppose this could just be a theatre effect, judging by the way it came
out on my surround sound. What was yet still more odd...was that it
continued onto the menu screen. Oh ya, it keeps getting more odd. I
started the movie again to see what would happen (hit "play movie" on
the menu) and it's still going, through the producer intros and such.
Now this is where it just gets....odd...
I stop the disc, and the music is still playing. (No, that's not what was....odd)

What was....odd....was when hit "disc change" over to my Red Hot Chili
Peppers CD. Yet again, it's coming out strange on my surround sound.
The Chili Peppers right underneath what I have dubbed, "Dramatic Final
Battle Sequence Music."
THEN, it went from odd to creepy.

I turned off the reciever, and the music...still...continued to play. I
thought about unplugging it, but was afraid that it'd scare the shit
out of me if it kept going.

Now I'm glad I didn't unplug it,
because I would have been shitting bricks...since I just realized (As I
typed "I turned off the reciever, I realized this) that the music was
actually coming from my TV. My PS2 is still hooked up to the TV audio,
the S-Video from my reciever just overrides the regular video...Fatal
Frame II happens to be running in my PS2 still from last night. As it
turns out...the music is just the game over music.
.....
o.O</p>

*Edit* Thinking on it more, I never noticed the music at first...I suppose I must have done something (unpaused it maybe) during the middle of the movie, at some point that it made the music sound appropriate...and everything just worked out perfectly enough to fuck with my head.
» Music....
What would we do without it?

fuck.

And it's headed to the United States.

I want one.
» My store caught on fire today...
I have a piece of our door in my pocket. They had to break it open to put the fire out.

Now there is a large wooden blockade in front of said door.
» @$#%
Every time I think I'm going to sleep in a decent amount, my phone rings off the hook causing me to get crap for sleep.
» DBC...
My store manager didn't do one of his duties last night. (DBC, a list of things sent by corporate that we have to count, then submit our counts after closing...sort of a mini-inventory) So, I had to do it.

On my way home, my store manager got a text message on his cell phone that read "omgwtfbbq!?!?!"

» Free food!
I had to call my District Manager today with an issue on somebody's improperly redeemed credits. He mentioned that he was on his way to my store. Just as I got off, he showed up - and had me get whatever I wanted for lunch (So, of course, I loaded up my Okee Dokee plate, and made it a meal). I've thought since he started that he was the best DM I've ever worked under, but a DM that gives me free food, now THAT is a good DM.
» Ow...
I just got out of the most violent mosh pit ever. I suffered many head injuries. And some hot chick moshed with me, then danced with me, and forced my hands to wander a lot more than I'd have done on my own. ^.^
It was also the most packed I've seen Studio 7 yet.

The down side of great music (surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed every single song, by every single band), and violent mosh pits...is that I get home, return to real life, and realize there is a real life outside of that...then I sit at home alone, while a kinda sad mood sets in.

On the bright side, Point ONE was throwing out christmas presents. I caught two of them, they were both t-shirts. I gave one to one of the girls that came with me, kept the other. Kevin from Endless Grey gave me 2 free drink coupons, one of which I kept. I got a drumstick that had cracked, and was tossed out to the crowd by the Point ONE drummer. I was almost smacked in the face when I heard people yelling before Esitu started playing...so I looked over the balcony to realize I had to quickly dodge a flying glow-necklace that the singer had flung up into the balcony...so I took that as well.
It was a rather fruitful concert, if I do say so myself.
» God dammit.
Those damned American Censorship boards make our lives so fucking annoying. Every game I play, I have to find the "profanity filter" option, and turn it off so I can figure out what the hell people are saying. Every time I'm wandering Wal-Mart (which isn't often, but often enough to be annoying) and see a CD I want, I have to remind myself not to buy it, because they censor so much. Some songs on the radio get all fucked up because they edit out things...or insert other parts of the song that make no sense.
And today..today I had to add the word "fuck" into my cell phone's auto-spell dictionary, because I realized how often I had to manually type it in, which is a real pain in the ass.
God damned conservative fucks screwing up the ease of living for the rest of us that actually matter.
» Yay!
I got to wake up listening to Rob, Arnie and Dawn this morning.
I use to listen to them every morning on my way home from worknig graveyard at Wal-Mart. Laughed my way home every damned morning, the entire way. Then...they took them off of KISW and replaced them with Howard Stern. (What the fuck?!?) They still air in Sacremento and Reno...I was stoked to hear 'em when I went to Cali last, but never woke up in time.

Yesterday, I found out that RAD had their show streamed live via the KRXQ station's website in Sacremento. So I woke up early this morning and got my stream on.
Good times were had by all.
» Not again..
I have the distinct feeling my mood is going to be more intense this winter than most. It's sure to have a large impact on my wallet...better start saving up now.
» Ew..
I woke up.
I felt sick.
Then I felt really sick.
Then I puked. A lot.
Then I went back to sleep.
First time I've thrown up without drinking in over 10 years.
The end.
» Me + Heavy Ass Chevy Nova + Chains + 3-4" Snow = Fun...
I left work, and started my "off work going home" celebration by doing donuts and slides all over the empty parking lot.

Then I ran a red light, not paying attention when it changed, but it had just turned red, so all was good. Though...I passed a cop on my way through. This prompted me to quickly pull into Best Buy, tear (err, slide) through the parking lot, and take a back road for a little bit. On this back road I discovered a couple damsels in distress, their VW stuck halfway up the hill. So, I parked on said hill and hopped out to give 'em a push. Took about 10 minutes, but they eventually cleared the top. I got back into my car, and enjoyed the rest of the ride home. (Funny how many cars I passed...people learn to drive in Washington and are still too scared to drive over 20mph). At Fred Meyer's, I saw a ricer with a large wing that had tried to turn...and instead ran into the rear quarter panel of a car waiting to turn there. Idiots. Speed is ok in the snow when traveling straight. Speed is bad in the snow when turning. Not rocket science here, guys. Funny how these morons gotta go out and rice up their cars, yet have no driving skill whatsoever. What are you trying to prove? It's like toting a gun, but not knowing where the safety is.

Fun times.
